“There is no vehicle which displays the Glory of God and the Wonder of God as clearly as the arts.” - Martin Luther
CrossMovement Dance Ministry exists to glorify God through the creativity of dance by worshipping God for who He is and for His great worth with all of our heart, mind, soul, and body. Dance is one response to God that we may use to express our gratefulness and love. Because we believe that God deserves our utmost, we are committed to instructing and teaching excellent dance technique and creative movement. Our focus is on bringing glory to God!

Ministry Director/Dance Instructor
Meredith Worley has been dancing and teaching for over 25 years. Her passion is to see children and adults use their body as a way to honor and worship Jesus through dance. She has a degree in dance education from UNC-Charlotte, and has had the privilege of choreographing and directing musicals for Lexington Youth Theatre as well as musicals and cantatas for churches in Lexington and Charlotte.
Caitlin Williams has been with Cross Movement Dance Ministry since it's humble beginnings circa 1997. In addition to her growing up with CMDM, Caitlin received technical dance training at Wake Forest University as a youth and student (Class of 2012) and is currently being trained en pointe at a local studio. Caitlin has had more recent opportunities to dance and teach with other dance ministries but considers CrossMovement her home.
While she has aspirations of moving to the big city, she thinks one of the reasons God put her in Lexington, NC was to receive the wonderful blessing that CrossMovement has been.
Music and dance are universal languages. How awesome it is to use them to share the greatest message of all. Gods love for us!
Meagan Chisholm will be teaching the High School Hip Hop Classes with Caitlin Williams and also be teaching Tap I. Dancing is a passion of hers and she is so excited to be teaching another year at Cross Movement Dance Ministry. Meagan loves CMDM and the mission it serves, and she's honored to be able to teach another year. This year will be her 4th year teaching and choreographing dances. Meagan started dancing with CMDM the Summer of 1998, taking Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acro and Hip Hop. She has had an amazing experience growing with Cross Movement Dance Ministry; meeting and become really close to so many sisters in Christ, and bonding with then while worshiping the Lord. Having always looked up to her dance teachers, Meagan has tried to follow their wonderful examples in and outside of the classrooms. She's excited to be in a position to do the same thing: to encourage students to grow in Christ and serve Jesus and others as He's called them to. I was saved at 5 years old and seen God work and hand ever present throughout the years. Meagan is confident that no matter what what happens: "God is with me, He has gone before me, He'll never forsake me and He has a plans for me. And I am excited to share this great news with others via my actions, words and dance!"
Meagan's favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

In May 2014 Ellen recommitted her life to Jesus and her husband became a new believer! It has changed her family she feels extremely blessed!

Amanda started taking dance in elementary school at Bobbi's School of Dance. She took ballet, tap, jazz, and acro until she graduated high school. Amanda also took gymnastics at Central Carolina Gymnastics in Middle and High School. She is a 1998 graduate of Central Davidson High School, and was headed to college with a minor in dance but a severe ankle injury from cheerleading caused a wrinkle in that plan her senior year. However, she always knew God had a plan for her. She never stopped dancing. Even after having 3 children (Xander 11, Carlie 7 and Colbie 7) she now teaches dance at the Lexington Parks and Rec so that ALL children have the opportunity to learn dance. Dance is such a passion of hers and so is serving our Lord and Savior. In the day time she work at Lexington High School as the Communities In Schools Site Coordinator to help make sure all students succeed no matter what life throws at them. Amanda knows she could not do any of this without the support of her husband Carlos and her mom Helen. She truly does believe "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Carly Everhart is 16 years old and a cheerleader at West Davidson High School. She grew up in the United Methodist Church and officially began her walk with God in 2010 when She made a public profession of faith and became a member of her church. In 2011 Carly went to the CMDM Night of Worship. She felt it was truly beautiful to see so many individuals praise the Lord through something they loved so dearly. The experience moved Carly to join CMDM so that She could also draw nearer to God through such a wonderful program. Last year Carly was a teacher’s assistant in the acro classes and is thrilled to have the opportunity to take a bigger role this summer. Ever since she was 3, she has taken tumbling classes at various locations and continue to take classes today. Teaching acro allows her to not only share her love for Christ and dance, but also her experience in tumbling. Carly cannot wait to worship with so many wonderful people this summer!
